This fascinating ring depicts a stylised skull modelled in Silver and encrusted with an array of rose cut Diamonds weighing approx. 0.80ct. The skull features an 18ct Gold closed backed gallery and sits upon a beautiful 18ct Gold fully engraved shank. This is a beautiful ring crafted in the Georgian Memento Mori style.

Memento Mori was a popular concept in Georgian England. Its literal translation is “Remember you will die”, and the pieces contain sombre imagery such as skulls and skeletons. Whilst it may seem a morbid choice, the style was intended to remind people of the brevity of life, and to therefore seize the day and enjoy living.

An incredible piece which will look stunning when worn and remind us to live life to the fullest.
