Details

A spectacular antique Edwardian carved half hoop ring from the early 1900s adorned with five gorgeous oval cut Almandine garnets with a deep cherry-pink hue. They graduate from 0.50 to 0.70ct (approx. 2.9ct total) and are accompanied by eight twinkling diamonds nestled in between.

Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s long been considered a stone of the heart and symbolic of passion and enduring love.

The gems look stunning spread over the finger and are set in an 18ct gold gallery with scrolled engraving down the sides and shoulders and Chester hallmarks within the band that date the piece to 1915.

We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
